The next time Saban sees analyst Garrett Cox will be the Third Saturday in October.According to AL.com, Cox is leaving Alabama to join Jeremy Pruitt’s staff at Tennessee. Per the report, Cox will be serving as an analyst for the Vols.Cox leaves Alabama to join up with another former member of the Crimson Tide, Kerry Stevenson. He had served on the Alabama staff since 2015.In the past few months, coaches Mike Locksley, Dan Enos, Josh Gattis, Tosh Lupoi, Brent Key, Craig Kuligowski and Joe Pannunzio have all left for jobs across the college football and NFL landscape.With all of the departures, Alabama has filled over half-a-dozen vacancies at key positions.Steve Sarkisian, Kyle Flood, Holmon Wiggins, Charles Huff, Brian Kelly, Sal Sunseri, and Charles Kelly are just some of the names who have joined the Alabama staff due to all of the turnover.SBNation noted back in January that the turnover has gotten so out of control that all of Saban’s staff members from 2016 are gone, while only one member of the 2017 Alabama staff is still around.Saban will get a chance to show Cox and Stevenson what they left behind when Alabama host Tennesse on October 19.[AL.com]last_img
