Previous record holder,semi-state finalist & EIAC MVP Carley Paul (#6, class 2011), set the bar at 1668 Assists. Thomas’s 25 Assist performance placed her over the top by 23 Assists, Making the season the limit for Thomas to set the new Bar. Thomas also holds the Single Season Assist Record with last years regional team at 1158 Assists, and the Single Game Assist Record with 62 Assists in a five game match against rival Lawrenceburg on 10/10/13.Batesville will welcome the Lady Tigers from Lawrenceburg on Tuesday, 9/2/14 with a 5 PM start time for both the Freshman and JV. Eva Marie Ulibarri, age 88

first_imgEva Marie Ulibarri, age 88 of Greensburg, IN died Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Morning Breeze Health Care in Greensburg, IN. Eva is the daughter of Conrad & Pablita (DeLaO) Madrid. She was born in Arigon, NM on November 11, 1928. She was married to Nick Ulibarri who preceded her in death. Eva raised her 5 children in Tucson, AZ. She moved to Indiana with her daughter and this is where she spent her later years and where she eventually passed away.She loved cookies and when she said “can I have a cookie” with that cute smile that no one could resist it’s needless to say she got a lot of cookies. When she was a young girl she had a horse named Carmel that she loved riding. She loved God and was proud of the fact that she traveled to the Holy Land. She was loving, kind, funny and the most positive person you could ever meet. Her family was everything to her. She had a great love for everyone and never met a stranger.Eva is survived by her children Nadine Gaston (Late Bill), Edith Grubb (Donnie), Nickey Ulibarri (Jadee) and Carol Haldeman. 1 sister Margaret Trujillo and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Carl Ulibarri, sister Ruby Hernandez and brothers Joe Madrid & Alberto Madrid.Friends may call Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2-3pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Mark Vice officiating. Men’s Golf Heads To MVC Championship On Monday

first_imgPrairie Dunes Country Club is the host site for the 2016 MVC Men’s Golf Championship. The course was designed by Perry Maxwell and opened in 1937. In the vision of the Carey family and Perry Maxwell, Prairie Dunes has become a renowned course and has played home to several major events including: U.S Women’s Amateur, Curtis Cup Match, U.S. Mid- Amateur, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Senior Open and also hosted the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship. Prairie Dunes was honored in 2005 by Golf Digest as being named one of America’s greatest Golf Courses. Print Friendly Version In last year’s MVC Championship, Ison and Lavery brought home top-18 flag honors as Ison finished tied for eighth, while Lavery placed tied for 13th. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
