Tweet this comment Cancel Submit Comment Subscribe to None Replies All new comments by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — The Wellington Rotary Club held its annual Top 20 student awards banquet and presentation of two of its three scholarships at the First Christian Church on Tuesday.Rotary Club Scholarship winners.Holly Wright and Ben DeJarnett won two of the three scholarships presented by the local service club. These scholarships are valued at over $1,200. There will be a third scholarship given during one of the two awards ceremonies at either Class Night or Graduation. Rotarian Fred Hinman was the emcee for the dinner. The top 20 seniors were recognized at the awards banquet. Those in attendance receiving the award were: front row, from left – Megan Singleton, Natasha Smith, Houston Sober, Holly Wright, Avery Lewellen, Abbie McComb, Shelby Hamel, and Payton Baker. Back row, from left – Ashleigh Greenhalgh, Madison Foster, Chayse Easterly, Ben DeJarnett, Gracie Defore, Connor Church, and Connor Burden.Top 20 seniors, who were present.The top 20 eighth graders were recognized.
