Tourism is a horizontal activity that requires a long-term strategy and the involvement of all tourism stakeholders in year-round tourism activities. From local plans and activities, to activities at the level of the Ministry of Tourism and the Croatian National Tourist Board. In doing so, special attention must be paid to sustainable development as a foundation necessary for the future of our tourism. ” Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli pointed out on the occasion of the award ceremony and added: “We must not forget that man is the key to success in tourism, therefore, I congratulate all the winners, nominees, but also all employees in Croatian tourism, because they are the ones who make tourism truly competitive and who with their creativity and work make Croatia attractive and one of the world’s most desirable tourist destinations. “.Annual award Anton Štifanić – Ante Mrvica, Jadrolinija SplitThe importance of the contribution of all tourism workers in achieving this year’s excellent results was emphasized by the Director of the CNTB Head Office Kristjan Staničić. “Tonight, we wanted to reward the best from different segments of our overall tourist offer with these awards and recognitions. Thus, in strong competition this year as well, we singled out individual destinations, attractions, events, but also hotels, camps, marinas and numerous other entities that make up the overall tourist offer. However, on this occasion, I would like to emphasize that behind all of the above are the people who, with their work and contribution, are actually most responsible for these excellent results, which we are all sincerely proud of. In that sense and on this occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations and thanks to all people for an excellent tourist year, and I wish everyone an even better and more successful tourist year 2018.” said director Stanicic. On this occasion, the Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for Tourism, Trade and Finance, Josip Zaher, pointed out: “The expected more than 10 billion euros in revenue for this year, the high share of tourism in GDP and the largest number of investments show the importance of tourism in the Croatian economy. At the same time, they point to the high dependence of the economy on this activity and the insufficient development of other sectors. Therefore, it is necessary to further encourage the growth of other sectors through tourism. I invite all stakeholders to a dialogue on important issues of the sector in order to welcome the next tourist year even more prepared and achieve even better results, and I congratulate once again the award winners, the champions of Croatian tourism.”, said the vice president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for tourism, trade and finance, Josip Zaher.TOP 10 OF CROATIAN TOURISM – October 26, 2017 TOURIST DESTINATION OF THE YEAR· Rovinj· Split· Crikvenica· Olive grove· Baranja· Osijek Hotel Monte Mulini, Rovinj TRAVEL AGENCY OF THE YEAR· Calvados Club Luxury Travel, Split· Fiore Tours, Porec· Uniline Travel Company, Pula TOURIST EVENT OF THE YEAR· Špancirfest· Poreč Open Air – festival of life· Rab Fair Split CATEGORYFINALISTSWINNER Marina Frapa, Rogoznica CAMP OF THE YEAR· Camping Resort Lanterna, Porec· Polidor Camping Park, FuntanaCamping Resort Lanterna, Porec Family hotel Amarin INNOVATION IN TOURISM OF THE YEAR· Family hotel Amarin· Perfect Experience Creator Program (Valamar Riviera dd)· Product Eltel Smart Cycling Bike Point MARINA OF THE YEAR· ACI Marina Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik· Marina Frapa, Rogoznica· Marina Vrsar, Vrsar HOTEL OF THE YEAR· Hotel Monte Mulini, Rovinj· Valamar Isabella Island Resort, Porec· Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik Hotel, Dubrovnik RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR· Bokeria Kitchen & Wine, Split· Gourmet Restaurant San Rocco, Brtonigla· Restaurant Villa Ariston, Opatija· Zinfandel’s Restaurant, Zagreb Rector’s Palace, Zadar Restaurant Villa Ariston, Opatija ANTON ŠTIFANIĆ AWARD· Annual Anton Štifanić Award· Lifetime Achievement AwardAnte Mrvica- Jadrolinija SplitNiko Bulićlast_img read more
